How to help out

  • If you want to help but you're not sure where to start, try improving the various stub articles by adding content.
  • Another helpful activity would be to check the list of wanted pages for frequently linked-to articles that don't exist yet.
  • To follow the changes to this wiki, and to look out for new users and edits use recent changes.
  • If you need help editing, you could start with Help:Editing or the tutorial.
  • You can find a list of useful templates on Category:Templates, some of which are documented on Gamification Wiki:Templates.
  • Help spread the word about the Gamification Wiki by using the social sharing buttons at the top of pages, writing blog posts linking to the wiki and anything else you can if you feel generous. :) If you link to the Gamification Wiki in a blog post or any web content please share it with us and if we think the content is suitable we'll share it with our fans and followers on various social networks, reaching tens of thousands of people.

Gamification Research Portal for Universities and Organizations

We've had many universities who have contacted us in regards to sharing research on the wiki. We're still figuring out our strategy for this and are looking for suggestions on what would be useful. We currently have a page setup at, but may change it to be more like a Gamification Research portal, such as Gamification_Wiki:Research_Portal where everyone can share research they've done and other people's resources.

Gamification for Education Portal

Gamification of Education is becoming increasingly popular with teachers commonly contacting us looking for details of teachers who have successfully gamified their classroom in some shape or form. We also have many teachers contacting us sharing their experiences and wanting to help other teachers. There could be a great opportunity to help teachers by creating a part of the wiki that is specifically for them.

Got a project idea of your own? Add it here or discuss in the discussion thread or forums!
