Jon Shalowitz
President & CEO
As President and CEO of Badgeville, Jon Shalowitz is responsible for setting and overseeing the company's overall strategic direction, planning and execution. Jon brings more than 20 years of executive management experience in building and maturing a number of innovative, fast-growth companies. Most recently, Jon was CEO and co-founder at CloudUP Networks, a PaaS provider where he led the company to capture a critical part of the cloud data management space. While CEO of XDN, Inc., he spearheaded the transition of the company into a category leader as a PaaS provider for application delivery services and also led the company to a successful acquisition by Fortinet (FTNT).  Prior to that, he co-founded SKYE, a market-leader for providing network and security IaaS to enterprises and ISPs, and he helped grow the company to 15 million subscribers worldwide. Jon has served in senior executive roles at both public companies as well as fast-paced technology innovators including NetScreen, 3Com, Securify, Nominum and Optimal Networks. Jon is a graduate of Duke University and received an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Ted Farrell
Chief Technical Officer
Ted has over 20 years of experience architecting and building software products and companies. Prior to joining Badgeville, Ted served as Chief Architect & SVP for Tools & Middleware at Oracle Corporation. Ted was responsible for technical and strategic direction of Oracle's runtime frameworks and tooling, as well as leading the architecture for Oracle Fusion Applications, the next generation of on-premise and SaaS-based packaged applications built from the ground up. Prior to Oracle, Ted was a founder and CTO at several startups including WebGain, Novasoft Systems and Tendril Software.
Raymond Lim
Raymond Lim has more than 20 years of experience executing business and financial strategies that have successfully grown and scaled several technology startup companies. Raymond was recently the Vice President of Finance for CrowdFlower, which runs a crowdsourcing platform for Labor-on-Demand. He was responsible for the performance of CrowdFlower's finance, accounting, HR, and legal functions. Prior to that, he was the Vice President of Finance for Jigsaw, where he readied the company for its $175 million acquisition by Salesforce.com. Before Jigsaw, Raymond led the G&A and Hosted Services functions at ECbridges, a software company specialized in e-commerce systems for enterprise clients. Earlier in his career, Raymond held various management positions at Compuware where he ran several product engineering and integration teams.
Chandar Pattabhiram
VP of Worldwide Marketing
Chandar is a seasoned enterprise executive with 20 years of marketing and management consulting experience in both private and public companies. He is responsible for Badgeville's worldwide marketing efforts including product marketing, corporate marketing and demand generation. Prior to joining Badgeville, Chandar was most recently VP of Product and Channel Marketing for IBM Cast Iron, the leader in Cloud integration. With his marketing leadership, Cast Iron transformed from a startup to the #1 brand in a new market category with more than a ten-fold increase in revenue. IBM acquired Cast Iron in 2010 as a centerpiece of it's Cloud strategy. Previously, Chandar held a senior product marketing role at Jamcracker, one of the pioneering SaaS platforms. Before transitioning into startup companies, Chandar spent many years at Andersen Consulting where he led strategy, e-commerce and business re-engineering projects for numerous Fortune 500 providers. Chandar hold a bachelors in mechanical engineering from PSG College of Technology and a masters in management from the University of Texas.
Shane Anastasi
VP of Enablement
Shane Anastasi brings nearly 20 years of Enterprise Services experience to the Badgeville team. He is an expert in building world-class professional services teams within enterprise software companies and is a leader in the professional services community. After starting his career at IBM delivering complex systems integration projects Shane has since worked as both a service provider and a service buyer and understands what it takes to achieve successful outcomes for his teams and his customers. He has held significant leadership roles within the services divisions of SignTel Optus, Vignette (now OpenText) and BigMachines (the leading SaaS CPQ software provider in the market). Shane specializes in bringing process and order to services growth having taken on a number of unprofitable Services teams and successfully scaling them to profitable, global thought leaders in their industries. Shane is a graduate of one of Australia's most prestigious IT degrees from Swinburne University of Technology (BIT) where he attended with an industry-funded scholarship.
Steve Sims
Founder, Behavior Lab & VP of Solutions & Design
Steve has 20 years of experience in game development and production for web, mobile, console and PC systems. He started his gaming career at Electronics Arts and EA Online where he was an Executive Producer and responsible for Madden NFL Football, the #1 selling sports video game franchise in North America, and EA's earliest forays into the online space including Fantasy Sports and Casual Games. He has worked in the gaming industry since with notable roles including Director of Operations at Gemini Mobile Technologies and Vice President of Product Management and Service Operations at Outspark.
Eric Braun
VP of North American Sales
Eric has over 20 years of experience in sales management in large multinational corporations including IBM and GE as well as many successful startups. He recently joined Badgeville from IBM where he spent several years as a worldwide sales leader for their premier software brand WebSphere, managing a large team of sales executives covering thousands of IBM accounts and achieving record revenues. Before IBM, Eric led sales teams at fast growing startups such as Webify Solutions (acquired by IBM) and Bladelogic (acquired by BMC). Eric has also spent many years in sales management positions at Vitria Technology and PTC where he consistently drove record revenues for both organizations. Eric started his sales management career at General Electric where he spent six years and is a graduate of the GE CMP Leadership program.
